About Agilexe

5 questions

What does Agilexe do?

Agilexe builds AI-enabled software for high hazard industries. Our platform helps organisations analyse training needs, design curricula, generate learning content, and assure training quality — all at a speed and compliance level that traditional methods cannot match. Our primary client is the UK Ministry of Defence, though our products are designed for any organisation operating in complex, safety-critical environments.

What is Agilexe’s core value proposition?

We operate under three principles: Speed, Compliance, and Confidence. We accelerate the entire training development lifecycle using AI, ensure outputs meet regulatory and assurance standards, and give training leads the confidence that their programmes are evidenced, traceable, and fit for purpose.

Where is Agilexe based?

Agilexe is a UK-based technology company. Our products are hosted on secure cloud infrastructure and are available to clients across the UK and internationally.

What types of organisations use Agilexe?

Our products are used by defence organisations, government agencies, regulated industries, and commercial enterprises that require structured, auditable training development. We have particular depth in DSAT-compliant environments such as the UK Armed Forces and their training establishments.

Is Agilexe accredited or certified?

Yes. Agilexe holds Cyber Essentials, Cyber Essentials Plus, and Defence Cyber Certification (DCC) Level 1 certification. This means our products and infrastructure meet the security standards required for work with the UK Ministry of Defence.

Products

9 questions

What products does Agilexe offer?

Agilexe offers a suite of seven products, each addressing a distinct phase of the training development lifecycle:

  • Shadow — AI-powered Training Needs Analysis (TNA)
  • Schema — AI-assisted training design and curriculum development
  • Sphere — AI learning content generation
  • Scrutineer — AI training assurance and quality feedback
  • SIFT — Standalone RAG-based intelligent search and chatbot engine
  • Streamline — Training pipeline management, course rationalisation and constellation analysis
  • Silhouette — AI collective Training Needs Analysis for group or organisational contexts

Each product can be used independently or as part of an integrated training development pipeline.

What is Shadow?

Shadow is our AI-powered Training Needs Analysis tool. It helps training managers and learning designers identify skill gaps, analyse role requirements, and produce evidenced TNA outputs quickly. Shadow is designed to work within DSAT frameworks and supports structured analysis against established training standards.

What is Schema?

Schema is our AI-assisted training design application. Once a TNA has been completed (via Shadow or otherwise), Schema helps translate that analysis into structured course designs — objectives, learning outcomes, delivery formats, and assessment criteria. It significantly reduces the time required to move from analysis to a completed Course Design Document.

What is Sphere?

Sphere is our AI learning content generation tool. It takes training design outputs and helps generate learning materials — lesson plans, exercises, assessments, and supporting content. Sphere is designed to ensure that generated content aligns with the intended learning outcomes and can be reviewed and edited before use.

What is Scrutineer?

Scrutineer is our AI training assurance and quality assurance tool. It reviews training materials and programmes against established standards and frameworks, highlighting gaps, inconsistencies, or compliance issues. It is particularly useful for organisations that must demonstrate regulatory compliance or pass formal training assurance audits.

What is SIFT?

SIFT is our Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) chatbot and intelligent search engine. It allows organisations to deploy a secure, context-aware AI assistant grounded in their own documentation and knowledge base. SIFT is available as a standalone product and is being developed as the shared search and retrieval engine underpinning Shadow and Schema.

What is Streamline?

Streamline is our course rationalisation and constellation analysis tool. It ingests training data — such as Formal Training Statements — and clusters courses by similarity to identify duplication, consolidation opportunities, and dependencies. Streamline can model consolidation scenarios (merging or cancelling courses) and show the impact on resources, and it exports Course Specifications directly to Schema. It is currently in active production use, including on the DCTT Project Carver programme.

What is Silhouette?

Silhouette is our AI collective Training Needs Analysis tool. Where Shadow focuses on individual or role-based TNA, Silhouette analyses training needs at a group, unit, or organisational level. It is designed for complex environments where collective capability requirements must be modelled across a team or workforce.

Can the products be used together as a pipeline?

Yes. The Agilexe suite is designed so that outputs from one product feed naturally into the next — from TNA (Shadow/Silhouette) through design (Schema) to content generation (Sphere) to assurance (Scrutineer). SIFT provides intelligent search across the knowledge generated at each stage. This end-to-end flow dramatically compresses the traditional training development lifecycle.

AI, Data & Security

5 questions

How does Agilexe use AI?

Agilexe uses large language models (LLMs) and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) to power analysis, generation, and search tasks across our products. AI is used to process documents, identify patterns, generate draft content, and surface relevant information. All AI outputs are designed to support human decision-making, not replace it.

Is my data secure?

Yes. We hold Cyber Essentials Plus and DCC Level 1 certification, which require robust data handling, access controls, and infrastructure security standards. Data processed through Agilexe products is not used to train external AI models. For clients with specific data handling requirements, we can discuss deployment options that meet those constraints.

Where is data stored?

Agilexe products are hosted on secure cloud infrastructure (primarily Microsoft Azure). For clients with specific data sovereignty requirements — particularly MoD and government clients — we work within the appropriate security frameworks to ensure data stays in the right environments.

Can Agilexe products be deployed on private or on-premise infrastructure?

This depends on the specific product and client requirements. Please contact us to discuss your deployment needs and we will advise on the available options.

Are AI outputs reviewed by Users?

Yes. All Agilexe products are designed with human oversight at each stage. AI-generated content is presented as a draft or recommendation for review, editing, and approval by qualified training professionals. We do not deploy AI outputs directly into live training without a human review step.

What does DSAT stand for?

DSAT stands for Defence Systems Approach to Training.

It is the structured approach used in defence to analyse, design, deliver and assure training against operational needs.

Is Agilexe DSAT software?

Agilexe supports key parts of the DSAT workflow, including Training Needs Analysis, training design, content generation, assurance and insight.

It helps defence training teams move faster while keeping outputs structured and traceable.

How does Agilexe support Training Needs Analysis?

Agilexe supports Training Needs Analysis through Shadow.

Shadow helps analyse source material, technical documentation, role information and operational context to identify structured training requirements.

This reduces manual interpretation and gives teams a clearer starting point for training design.

How does Agilexe support training design?

Agilexe supports training design through Schema.

Schema turns structured requirements into curricula, learning pathways and defensible training design.

This helps teams move from identified need to structured design without losing the link back to the original requirement.

Can Agilexe generate training materials?

Yes.

Sphere supports the creation of delivery-ready training materials from approved design inputs.

This helps teams produce aligned training content faster, while keeping the output connected to the underlying requirement.

Does Agilexe replace Subject Matter Experts?

No.

Agilexe is designed to support Subject Matter Experts, not replace them.

It reduces repetitive manual work, helps structure information and gives experts more time to focus on judgement, review and assurance.

Is Agilexe an LMS?

No.

Agilexe is not a learning management system.

An LMS helps deliver and track learning. Agilexe supports the analysis, design, generation and assurance work that sits behind critical training development.

How does Agilexe protect the Golden Thread?

Agilexe helps connect source material, training requirements, curricula, content and assurance evidence.

That makes it easier to understand where training outputs came from, what requirement they support and how they remain aligned to the original need.

Is Agilexe suitable for defence and secure environments?

Agilexe is built for complex, regulated and high-stakes environments where speed, control and traceability matter.

For defence teams, the value is not just faster output.

It is faster output with structure, assurance and confidence.

How is Agilexe different from generic AI tools?

Generic AI tools can create content, but they do not manage the DSAT lifecycle.

Agilexe supports a structured workflow across analysis, design, content generation, assurance and insight.

It is built to preserve control, not create another disconnected output that still needs to be checked manually.

What is the best first step?

The best first step is to request a demo.
