Royal Air Force
Challenge
As a result of an urgent operational requirement to procure and modify a strategic intelligence asset, the Royal Air Force needed a rapid Training Needs Analysis (TNA) to be conducted to identify the specific training and development needs of personnel from multiple trade groups including, Pilots, Engineers and Armourers.
Solution
To conduct the Training Needs Analyses (TNAs), Agilexe utilised its Shadow software and processes to enable an effective analysis of a range of RAF and civil aviation data and subject matter expert inputs. Shadow enabled the rapid and concurrent development of multiple TNAs entirely aligned to the RAF capability requirements. Further economies of effort were achieved through the use of artificial intelligence support to identify trends and patterns in the data that may not have been immediately apparent and, as a result, this reduced the overall analysis effort by 75%.
Impact
The TNAs provided a detailed and evidence- based assessment of the resources and capabilities required to meet the needs of the military. In addition, the TNAs identified common training requirements that could potentially lead to an in excess of 35% reduction in future training development and delivery costs and effort.

Cavendish nuclear / Sellafield, UK nuclear sector
Challenge
Agilexe's strategic workforce study for the UK nuclear industry was specifically designed to address the challenge of attracting and retaining skilled workers in the industry. Our client recognised that this would be an increasing problem over the coming decades and needed a long- term, strategic solution
Solution
Our team at Agilexe conducted a comprehensive analysis of the data available on the skills required by the nuclear industry and the education sector in the UK. We examined trends and patterns in the data using our advanced analytical techniques and consulted with industry experts to gain a deeper understanding of the current and future workforce needs of the nuclear industry.
Impact
Through our data analysis and consultation with industry experts, we were able to identify the specific skills that would be required of nuclear industry workers over the coming decade and how these skills aligned with the development of the UK education sector. However, we also recognised that the education sector would face a number of challenges in the coming years, including the impact of Brexit, changes in the geopolitical landscape, and ongoing globalisation. These challenges could potentially impact the availability and preparedness of skilled workers in the nuclear industry, making it even more important for the industry and education sector to work together to ensure that the next generation of workers was well- equipped to meet the needs of the industry.By considering these challenges as part of our analysis, we were able to provide a more comprehensive assessment of the workforce needs of the nuclear industry and make recommendations that allowed our client to make informed decisions and develop strategies that were resilient and adaptable in the face of an uncertain future.

The Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO)
Challenge
The Defence Infrastructure Organisation (DIO) required formalisation and optimisation of the training requirements for the range safety personnel managing, controlling and maintaining UK military firing ranges across the globe.
Solution
Agilexe implemented a process that may be considered a "reverse TNA" in order to formalise and optimise the training requirements for this role. This process involved creating a Role Performance Statement to clearly define the training requirement, and developing a fully compliant set of DSAT documentation and a Document Review Management Plan to describe the relationship between the training and the requirement. The project team also formally described the training that should be delivered, including providing assurance that there was no significant under or over training related to the OSTESC course and establishing a formal baseline for the course content. By using LSpecs and assessments, the team was able to develop a course structure that allowed for the identification of where each training objective was achieved and assessed. These efforts brought the course and all supporting documentation up to the standards required of DSAT.
Impact
As a result of these efforts, the role training requirements were formalised and optimised. The team was able to clearly describe how the training related to the role's requirements, formally describe what training should be delivered, and create a course structure that ensured that training objectives were properly identified and assessed. This will help to ensure that DIO personnel are effectively trained and prepared to perform their duties.

Global mining sector client
Challenge
Our client required rapid, agile development of engaging learning content that supported front line operational personnel while concurrently shortening the training pipeline.
Solution
Agilexe utilised automation and AI driven design processes to build a modular course structure and support detailed engagement with the clients subject matter experts. In developing the content within the learning modules Agilexe leveraged immersive environment technologies to support rapid delivery of the requisite knowledge and skills.
Impact
As a result of Agilexe's work personnel transitioned to front line duties at improved levels of competence while concurrently demands upon instructional resources were reduced. The learning content developed by Agilexe provided a significant uptick in both learner engagement and learner self-sufficiency through provision of comprehensive self-learn resources. Further benefits have been gleaned from Agilexe's delivery of the learning events as modular components which have improved the flexibility and resilience of the training pipeline while improving opportunities for the training of UK Armed Forces reserve and international partner personnel.
